Yes, we get snow in Texas! I know it's hard to believe but at least once a year we get a snowfall and the whole area shuts right down. The kids were in and out all day. Makes me a little homesick.

Well it's official - I'm kicking of my 52 week project. One photo a week. I wanted the first one to be something that showcases me and well what better than combining two things that I love (we besides my family), shoes and photography.

The Shoes - 3 1/2 inch leopard print heels with ribbon laces. Purchased from Victoria Secret sometime last year.

The Book - Expressive Photography - The Shutter Sisters' Guide to Shooting from the Heart. Great book full of ideas and wonderful images.

I know it's not the start of the year yet (hey it's just days away) but I have been itching to start. I swear I didn't pick up my camera the last 2 weeks at all. So photo -1 of the 52.

This is Ellie, she just might become a major star of my 52 week project, Curt also got me a Speedlight for Christmas so I'll be playing with that as well.

Welcome! This year I'm going to attempt at 52 project, basically I will post one photo a week, I was going to try to do the 365 project, but let's be honest I'd get side tracked and fail within the first month. If I manage to post more than one photo a week, just consider it a bonus!

So starting January 1st, watch for my 52 week project! Woot!!!
